Talented Resident knits beautiful poppies for Remembrance DayTalented Linda Harper, a Resident at HC-One’s Leeming Garth Care Home in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire, has been busy knitting beautiful poppies for Residents and their families to buy and wear with pride.

Sandra Smith, Leeming Garth’s Hairdresser, bought two and her own friends and family loves them so much, the orders have been pouring in for Linda to make them one.

Purple poppies are worn as sign of respect and to remember the millions of service animals killed in the war.

So far, Linda has raised a fantastic £41, which will go in to the Poppy Collection box for the British Legion.
