Talented Care Home Resident shows off Works of Art
Willow Court Resident, Maureen has always been a keen and talented artist and sketched a number of drawings over the years. Each drawing is of local famous Lincoln landmarks such as Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln Castle the Old Court House (still in use) and the Guildhall and Stonebow.

HC-One’s Willow Court’s maintenance man Keith, saw the drawings and thought that they were too good to be kept in a scrapbook so went about making a custom-made frame to display them in the home.

The incredible drawings are now proudly displayed in Kingfisher unit for everyone to admire and Maureen could not be happier to see her works of art on show!

Everyone in the home was in awe of how long these single stroke drawings would have taken to complete and agreed that Maureen was a very talented artist.

Home Manager, Jo Keenan commented:

“We are so proud of Maureen. These drawings are amazing and we love that they are now on display in the home. It was lovely of Keith to create the special frame for Maureen and just shows how Kindness is shown at every level in the home.”
