The team at Fullarton’s Care Home in Irvine, Ayrshire have kindly renovated an old medicine trolley and filled it with the Residents’ choice of treats for a weekly visit.
Every Monday the team at Fullarton put their colourful aprons and hats on, play a musical chime similar to the old-fashioned fondly remembered ice cream van chimes and take their renovated medicine trolley full of treats around all of the four units.
They love having this opportunity to chat to all of the Residents, which in turn really brightens their day.
The choice of sweets has been decided by the Residents and they all love being able to choose their favourite treats.
