Sweet treats for Acorn Hollow ResidentsResidents of Acorn Hollow, Northwich took advantage of the recent warm weather to enjoy a trip to their local ice-cream farm.

Everyone had a great time; it was a bright sunny day so was the perfect time to have ice cream. They also met Archers very own cows on their trips.

Residents enjoyed looking at all of the different colours and flavours and reminiscing about when they used to visit the ice cream shop with their families, commenting:

“It is so lovely to enjoy such delicious ice cream on a sunny day.”

This family run farm is situated on the edge of Great Budworth village, one of the prettiest villages in Cheshire and all the ice cream is made on site.  The tearoom serves many different flavours of ice cream along with some mouth-watering homemade cakes.

Home Manager, Keeley Hackney, commented:

“It’s important for the Residents to get out and about away from the home. Residents love going on trips and we work hard to make sure this is a regular opportunity for them. When the Residents came home they were full of excitement as they told me all about the many different colours and flavours they tried.”
