As the temperature continued to soar, Residents at HC-One’s Cedar Court Care Home were delighted when the home arranged for an ice cream van to arrive at the home.
Every Resident was able to choose an ice cream and everyone was very pleased to enjoy the sweet treat!
Residents who were nursed in bed did not miss out as care colleagues delivered ice cream straight to their rooms.
Little touches like this are just another way the home delivers the kindest possible care to its Residents.
Home manager, Louise McQuone commented:
“I have never seen ice cream being eaten so fast! It was lovely to put a big smile on our Residents faces.”
