HC-One’s Cold Springs Park care home in Penrith welcomed local group, Sweet Melody Singers to perform for Residents on Friday 29th March.
Residents enjoyed listening to their favourite love songs from their youth as they watched the singers, who were beautifully dressed in red with rose button holes. Sweet Melody Singers also brought a furry friend to say hello, Jack the Yorkshire terrier loved meeting the Residents and getting lots of love and attention.
After the performance everyone sat together and shared stories over a slice of homemade cake and a warm beverage. One Resident, Betty said:
“It’s been a lovely afternoon”.
