Residents from HC-One’s Cedar Court care home in Wigston enjoyed a spontaneous day out to Grange Farm in Copston Magna for strawberry picking.
The sun was shining as Fred and Geoff, Residents at Cedar Court accompanied by Anglia, Geoff’s wife and members of the care team visited Grange Farm to sample their delicious strawberries.
The strawberry plants at the farm are higher than most places which made it easier for both Fred and Geoff to pick as many as possible.
Everyone had a great time, Fred and Geoff said it was lovely to do something a little different to the normal activities.
The team at Cedar Court are hoping to take more Residents to sample the sweet strawberries at Grange Farm very soon.
