HC-One’s Peniel Green care home in Llansamlet, Swansea showed their support for Wave Radio Station’s Don’t Dance Alone campaign by hosting a special war themed party.
Residents gathered for an afternoon of singing, laughter and dancing with live entertainment from Mandy Ann followed by a delicious buffet lunch a visit from the presenters at Wave Radio Station.
The Don't Dance Alone campaign aims to raise awareness of the growing problem of loneliness. It is something that affects as many as 75,000 older people across Wales.
Items such as ration books, helmets and poppy displays added the to the war themed party, some people dressed up for the occasion and everyone sand war time songs together.
A great time was had by all, with Residents commenting that it was a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
