Swallownest care home receives kind donation from local communitySwallownest care home in Sheffield was delighted to receive seven beautiful Christmas hampers from students at the local school. 

The care home has established a fantastic relationship with Swallownest School, who have visited the home for many years to sing for Residents. 

Everyone at Swallownest care home was delighted to welcome the students to the home for a special Christmas visit, as Head Teacher Mr Leyton revealed that the children had decided to gift their Christmas presents from the school to Residents at Swallownest instead. 

Residents were touched by the kind donation, as they received beautiful hampers filled with fluffy socks, chocolate biscuits, cakes, toiletries and much more. 

Amanda Fields, Home Manager at Swallownest, said: “We were so touched that the children had chosen to donate their Christmas present money to bring our Residents gifts. It truly has made everyone’s day here at Swallownest.”
