Sussex care home welcomes furry visitorsResidents and Colleagues at Grosvenor Park were very pleased to have received a visit from Pet Pals who brought some lovely little guinea pigs along recently.

The guinea pigs were given strokes and cuddles from Residents, whilst they listened to the quiet noises the animals made in their laps. Residents found this to be very therapeutic as they chatted amongst each other while they cuddled and admired the little creatures.

Everyone found it interesting to also learn some information about the animals’ personalities and how they are cared for as they received a talk from Pet Pals.

Jackie O'Callaghan, Home Manager, commented: “It’s wonderful to see how much pleasure the Residents get from holding the guinea pigs. It’s been a lovely afternoon of learning more about them.”
