Sunderland care home Residents create poster for local supermarketResidents from HC-One’s Northview Lodge is Castletown, Sunderland have joined together to fulfill a request put upon them from their local Aldi supermarket.

The local Aldi store recently contacted Northview Lodge and the wider Castletown community to ask for posters of hope to display in their shops during this extremely difficult and uncertain time.

Northview Lodge were more than happy to help and along with staff, created a lovely colour poster using the home name to remind us all of what rules to follow and that its all going to be okay.

Northview Lodge Resident Sharon Gunn said: “In these hard times its lovely to come together with the community and share messages of hope.”

Residents enjoyed drawing around their hands to create some lovely artwork and cutting them out whilst discussing what to write on the poster.

Northview Lodge Home Manager Patrick Joseph Morley said: “"I am so proud of the team at Northview Lodge. Despite these trying times they have continued with initiatives like this poster to keep Residents involved in meaningful activity and make sure that they are enjoying themselves.”
