Sunderland care home Residents enjoy high tea sing alongResidents at HC-One’s Falstone Court care home in Sunderland have enjoyed a lovely high tea along with the staff at the home.

The coronavirus has meant that some Residents have had to isolate in their rooms, sometimes for as long as two weeks, so for the Residents to finally be able to enjoy an activity with members of the team at Falstone Court was a big deal.

Karen, the wellbeing coordinator at Falstone Court care home organised the high tea and stocked the food trolley with scones, cracks, quiche, chocolate, tea and even some gin and beer.

Residents helped themselves to the treats and ate and drank into the afternoon whilst enjoying a sing along with fellow Residents.

One Falstone Court Resident said: “I’ve enjoyed the company a lot, I have had a lovely afternoon and a sing along.”

A total of eighteen Residents enjoyed the high tea afternoon in Falstone Court care home which was a lovely change for some as they finally experience their lives going back to normal.
