Residents from HC-One’s Summerville care home in Warrington, Cheshire took a trip over to local care home Victoria House for a special lunch.
The aim of the visit was to bridge gaps and bring communities together, and Residents enjoyed getting to know new people and form new friendships.
They enjoyed a light lunch of soup and sandwiches followed by an afternoon of games and sing songs.
Resident Mel Slater remarked:
“It was lovely to get out and meet new people!”
Home Manager Iqbal Sidhu commented:
“It is so nice to see our Residents so positive and looking so happy when they got back and we can’t wait to welcome their new friends from Victoria House when they visit.”
