Summerhill, residential, nursing and dementia care home in Kendal, teamed up the local community group to host a coronation party.
Many from the local neighbourhood group along with Wellbeing Coordinator, Sean planned a fantastic coronation party in honour of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
It was a great time for the community to get to know both Residents and Colleagues from Summerhill. The Wellbeing Team handed out newsletters to show others in the community the types of activities which are planned for the Residents.
The party was great and there were lots of games, food and the atmosphere was fantastic. Hundreds of people joined to celebrate the coronation and the local news attended to see all the fun everyone was having.
