Residents of HC-Ones Meadowbank House in Bolton recently held an indoor (due to the unpredictable british weather!) Caribbean summer fair and invited the surrounding community.
The home held the fair in order to raise some money for the Residents comfort fund and take them on a trip to Blackpool Zoo.
Residents enjoyed a live singer who sang a few well known Caribbean songs and a pop up shop that consisted of donations given from Family, Colleagues and Residents.
Everyone was able to experience a taste of the Carribean as they sampled Caribbean lamb and pork Curry, Cakes, Snacks and Drink fizzy drinks.
A classic Caribbean rum Punch was served in plastic coconut or pineapples cups and went down well with everyone!
Other activities included a face painting stand along with games.
The home raised £95.11 for the comfort fund.
