HC-One’s Birch Court Care Home recently held its annual summer fair, and although the weather wasn’t as sunny as hoped and the rain began, this didn’t stop the fair from happening indoors.
Many people attended the home, including Relatives and friends, for a day filled with entertainment from singer Gordon Hopwood, as well as various events including the crowning of the rose queen and the annual Birch Court dog show.
Of course, no fair is complete without activities, and there was plenty to do at the home. This included stalls and raffles for everyone to join in with, and many prizes to be won.
Catherine Haycock, Home Manager, commented: “It has been a lovely day and it has been wonderful to see so many visitors in the home enjoying themselves. The team have worked so hard to make today a success and I am so proud to work alongside them.”
