HC-One’s Sutherland Court care home in Fenham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened its doors to friends, family and members of the community for the home’s annual summer fair on Sunday 18th August.
Residents were joined by visitors and members of the team for fun-filled day, with a live performance from local entertainer, Kevin Royale, stalls selling handmade items, a tombola and much more. Everyone loved listening to Kevin sing songs from the 50's and 60's, some Residents joined in as Kevin sang their favourite songs.
A great time was had by all, one Relative commented: “Thank you for such a fantastic day, the singer was amazing and it was great to see everyone in such high spirits.”
Karen Stewart, home manager at Sutherland Court said: “It was wonderful to see both Residents and guests enjoying themselves, thank you to everyone who supported out summer fair and helped us to raise an amazing total of £475 in two hours for the Resident’s Comfort Fund.”
