Stroll out to the shops for Residents at Stockport care homeResidents Joyce, Ruth and Mary from Appleton Manor care home, enjoyed a stroll outdoors today to pop to the local shop for some items.

The Resident wellbeing co-ordinator Sarah, accompanied the three ladies out for a stroll to the local shop, where the Residents were able to pick up some of their favourite things.

They then also made a stop on their journey to visit the local post-box where they posted letters and cards to their family and friends. This trip out is a great way for the Residents to get exercise, socialise and feel independent being able to go and get their favourite treats!

Our Colleague Sarah commented ‘I love seeing our residents being very independent and choosing their own things to buy, getting them out in the fresh air is great too.’
