Stop the clock is a success at Goole care homeResidents at Windsor Court care home in Goole have loved the introduction of Stop the Clock as Colleagues have been supporting Resident wellbeing in the home.

Introduced to all care homes across HC-One, Stop the Clock involves all Colleagues in the home taking 15 minutes of their time to sit and interact with Resident activities, regardless of their job role.

Windsor Court has integrated Stop the Clock into their daily schedule, carrying out a different activity each day in the week to help keep Residents engaged and stimulated.

Activities so far have included arts and crafts, board games, baking and walks outside.

The home is also looking forward to integrating its new gardening club with Stop the Clock activities, as it completes the building of its new orchard in the garden.

One Resident commented: “I really love the buzz of stop the clock and getting to know staff members from other departments.”
