Residents at HC-One’s Victoria House in Stockton-on-Tees have been unable to access the minibus due to current restrictions, so Colleagues decided to try some ‘armchair travel’ with Residents.
Colleagues chose to take Residents on a whistle stop tour around London, taking in the popular sights such as Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.
At the beginning of the session, Colleagues asked Residents what they thought of when they see picture of London. Residents answered ‘the Royal’, ‘too big’, ‘’The Queen’ and ‘The Tower of London’.
Carly Baker, Victoria House wellbeing coordinator said: “Residents really enjoyed the session and said it made a good change. They also liked to learn some of the facts which I read to them during the session.”
