Residents at HC-One’s Victoria House care home in Stockton on Tees have enjoyed a fun filled Halloween weekend this year, with Colleagues dressing up and putting on activities for all to enjoy.
This included putting decorations along the corridors hung from the ceiling as well as some Residents working together to create decoration including witches, cats, bats, spiders and pumpkins.
Several members of the team came inf fancy dress, with the home’s wellbeing coordinators Joe Ritchie, dressed as a pumpkin and Carly Baker dressed as a witch.
Colleagues had a projector rotating spooky shapes across the walls in the lounge and Halloween themed music playing on the tablet. In the evenin, Residents had a Halloween themed treat trolley complete with Halloween themed crispy cakes and biscuits handmade by the kitchen team to choose from.
Sarah Dodsworth, Home Manager at Victoria House said: “This weekend is a good example of how team work within the home can create an enjoyable day for our Residents.”
