Appleton Manor staff have made a kind rule where everybody in the home stops for tea at 3pm so everyone can socialise.
From the home manager to nurses, team leaders to admin, kitchen to maintenance and more, every member of staff within the home will take it in turns around this time to take 15-20 minutes out of their day to speak with Residents.
Kitchen chefs Joanna and Helena bake a lovely selection of cakes, desserts and snacks for the Residents to sit down and enjoy with a drink of their choice. Different staff members will then wander round and interact, it’s a lovely way to make everyone feel at home.
