Stockport care home help Residents keep in touch with familyResidents at HC One’s Appleton Manor care home spent the afternoon skyping their families to keep in touch.

Keeping up to date with family, friends and loved ones is so important, and at Appleton Manor the staff have done everything to make sure the Residents are able to speak with theirs.

This afternoon Skype calls were organised and it was great to hear some of the funny conversations between Residents and Relatives.

One Resident, Peter, was able to see his granddaughter and kept making funny faces at her. He commented ‘Oh it’s me, oh and there is you, and my granddaughter!’

Wellbeing coordinator Sarah said ‘It was nice to see the Residents chatting to their families, I think they were surprised at how technology is these days!’
