Burns Supper went down a treat with Residents this evening at HC-One’s Forthbank care home in Kildean.
Address to a Haggis by Robert Burns was read as the evening got underway. But Residents were in for a surprise when Care Assistant James donned a traditional kilt to serve their evening meal – haggis, neeps and tatties.
One Resident commented: “It was all so lovely. A very enjoyable day.”
The dining room was beautifully decorated in blue, white and tartan as Residents tucked into a delicious meal over plenty of chatter and laughter.
After a traditional supper, Residents enjoyed taking part in a fun sing-a-long as everyone chose their favourite songs.
Forthbank Home Manager, Yvonne Graham, said: “All enjoyed the day. Staff made sure it was extra special by ensuring rooms were decorated beautifully.”
