Stirling care home baking group create beautiful cake for NAPA competitionResidents at HC-One’s Forthbank care home in Stirling recently put their baking hats on and created a beautiful cake to be entered into the NAPA cake competition.

National Activities Providers Association (NAPA) are hosting a cake decorating and a ‘make your own tea bunting’ competition for homes to get involved with to help Residents get creative.

At Forthbank care home, the home baking group have been at work creating their homes very own cake decoration entry. The baking group designed, baked and put together the cake, which features stunning ornaments, lots of colours and features.

One Forthbank Resident said: “It has been such an amazing day and the bit is still to come. Eating it.”

Other Residents at Forthbank care home got involved with the ‘make your own tea bunting’ competition. Residents helped cut out bunting shaped materials and decorated them with colourful flowers, a teapot and the homes name.

Forthbank Home Manager, Yvonne Graham said: “This competition has been a great morale boost for Residents which has gave them the purpose to get creative.”
