Stevenage care home builds shelter for furry friendsResidents at HC-One’s Woodlands View care home enjoyed an afternoon of creativity as they began building a home for some local hedgehogs in the community.

Everyone joined together as they helped to create a shelter within the home’s sensory garden, in the hope that local hedgehogs will take shelter in the garden to keep safe from any predators or harsh weather.

The home is hoping to receive support from the local RSPCA branch in Hertfordshire East in Baldock as they seek their guidance on how to successfully provide and improve the home they are building.

Deby O’Hare, Home Manager, commented: “It’s been wonderful to begin this project together in the home, we hope to eventually create something useful for the little creatures.”
