Three residents from Sandon House care home had a blast this week when they visited Uppermill Museum.
They stepped back in time to experience how the cotton was spun on the ‘Loom’ and look at some old fashioned bikes such as the penny farthing.
They then went on to visit some old fashioned lounges complete with a range which Many of the Residents remembered.It brought back many memories for them.
They later had refreshments on the minibus on the way back to the home whilst chatting about how much fun they had that day.Dennis particularly enjoyed looking at the old cars.

“That was a lovely day, I remember coming here when I was younger.”
