Balnacarron care home in St Andrews, Fife, was delighted to receive recognition for its excellent level of activities for older people.
Cheryl Card, Wellbeing Coordinator, attended a Physical Activity Conference on behalf of the home, where she was presented a bronze award for outstanding training and activities for older adults in Fife.
The award, which was presented to Cheryl by local councillor, Judy Hamilton, recognises the efforts Balnacarron goes to to provide stimulating and exciting activities for its Residents.
Cheryl said: “It was a great honour to have received this nomination, as it highlights the achievements we have had in our home. The whole team are very proud of the award!”
