On Saturday 8th October, five Colleagues from
Stamford Court nursing care home, on Tameside, met up at Heaton Park to complete a memory walk for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The five ladies including those pictured Kate, Karen Stickley-Owen, Jacquie Smith, Stacy Harrison and Sophie Logan, completed the 7km route among over 2000 other people raising money for this amazing cause.
They walked around the whole of Heaton Park, not once but twice! And between them all, have raised a tremendous £600.
The ladies commented, “We are very grateful to everyone who sponsored us to do the event and help raise the amount we did.”
Sue Jackson, Registered Home Manager, said she was incredibly proud of the achievement.
