Stalybridge care home takes a walk on the wild side as Residents enjoy Zoolab visitResidents at Millbrook care home in Stalybridge enjoyed a visit from some exotic visitors as they welcomed Zoolab to the home.

Everyone enjoyed meeting the special guests, which included giant African snails, tarantulas, rats, millipedes and a corn snake.

To the Residents’ delight, Zoolab gave everyone who was brave enough the opportunity to stroke or hold the animals, with many asking for more information about the creatures’ diets and habitats.

One Resident commented: “I enjoyed stroking the rats the most, as they were much fluffier than the other animals.”

Andrew Poll-Drane, Home Manager at Millbrook, said: “Meeting the animals from Zoolab is one of the most popular activities in our home. Many Residents are already asking when they will be visiting again!”
