Residents at HC One’s Millbrook care home decided to send their loved ones messages and photos to keep in touch.
During this difficult time it is more important than ever to stay in contact with our loved ones, so Residents at the home took the time to send their families and friends some personal messages, along with a photo of themselves to feel connected.
Home manager Andy and wellbeing coordinator Gavin came up with this idea, where the messages have been sent out via email to individual families saying ‘We are well and we miss you xx’.
The response has been fantastic with lots of families saying how well their loved ones look and thanking the care home for sending the pictures, and are looking forward to more.
One of the Relatives commented back ‘What a lovely idea, doesn’t Mum look well! We can’t wait to visit the home again.’
