Staffordshire care home raise awarenessResidents and Colleagues at Branston Court recently held a day of excitement as they had afternoon tea and a cake sale to raise awareness for Parkinson’s disease.
The event was held during Parkinson’s Awareness Week, which is a week dedicated to raising awareness about this potentially devastating condition, and the home managed to raise a sum of money for the charity from the cake sale and tombola.

Residents enjoyed the afternoon, and friends and Relatives joined in the fun as they enjoyed tea served from special china tea sets alongside some delicious cakes and sweet treats.

The day was a wonderful success as it meant Residents and their families could also learn more about the disease.
One Resident even remarked: “This is such a fantastic cause to fundraise for and it’s amazing to think that just a few caring people could make such a big change in the world.”
