Residents enjoyed sitting out in the sunshine chatting away today at Maple Lodge care home in Staffordshire. They enjoyed arranging the plants and organising where they should go in the garden.
The Residents love the warmer weather and enjoy getting out there as much as they can, Maple Lodge has an area with some colourful gnome characters which they find amusing, Resident Harry Kirkham in particular loves these quirky characters.
There are many different species of flowers as well as an array of ornaments and decorations throughout the garden, which have recently become a talking point for Residents who like to spend a lot of time outside. At night the lights in the garden make it pretty to look at and they often enjoy looking through the windows.
Sarah Dodd is the Home Manager at Maple lodge and commented, “It is lovely to see the Residents outside enjoying the warmer weather in the garden they can relax and admire it”.
