Stafford care home’s annual Remembrance ServiceResidents and Colleagues at Maple Court care home, in Rowley Park, hosted their annual Remembrance Day Service to remember the fallen.

The Wellbeing Coordinators at Maple Court made an Order of Service for the day. This included a ‘We will remember’ verse, hymns including ‘Abide with me’ and poems which were read out by Colleagues and one of the Residents, Gladys, who loved being asked to read a poem out.

The Last Post and two minutes of silence followed.

In the afternoon, Residents enjoyed tea and cakes while they could request songs and sing together.

Home Manager, Helen Bowen, remarked, “An amazing day to come together and remember those.”
