Colleagues at HC-One’s Maple Court care home were delighted as two Colleagues within the home took part in hiking the 26 miles through the Brecon Beacons mountain range.
Nursing Assistants Jaimie and Jemma completed the hike to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society, as over 900 people were involved in the event all together.
The home were delighted that the event raised a total of just over £1000, and the Colleagues were praised for their determination throughout the event.
Hayley Rix, home manager, commented: “We are so proud of Jaimie and Jemma for taking part in this event, they have shown such dedication and have worked hard to complete the task alongside the other hikers.”
