Poignant moments were had at HC-One’s Stadium Court care home as the home held a special Christmas memorial service for the Residents who have passed.
A representative from the local Swan Bank church attended the home to conduct the service for Relatives and friends of those who have passed, and everyone came together to place white feather decorations on the home’s tree, personalised to commemorate each Resident.
The home now hope to feature the names of each of these Residents onto plaques on the home’s memorial bench.
Afterwards, an afternoon tea was provided by the home’s catering team for all to enjoy, as everyone shared fond memories of their loved ones.
Trish McCaffrey, home manager, commented: “This service was a wonderful way to remember the Residents who are no longer with us, Relatives have especially enjoyed this afternoon and we are glad to have shared such lovely memories.”
