St Patrick pays a visit to Grampian CourtHC-One’s Grampian Court in Peterlee had a fun-filled St Patrick’s Day, with the saint even making a special visit to the home.

The home was decorated with Irish flags and buntings and all staff dressed to impress with the theme “be seen in green”.

St Patrick himself arrived at the home where he visited every Resident before taking part in a game of carpet bowls with the Residents. Everyone had a great time chatting to each other with Irish music playing in the background.

Maureen, a Resident at Grampian Court, was absolutely thrilled to take the crown commenting:

"I can’t believe I’ve hit the jack!”

The Residents loved that they were able to socialise with everyone and thoroughly enjoyed the game of carpet bowls as it created a lot of laughter.
