Residents at
St Margaret’s, residential and nursing care home, in Durham, were very excited to have a trip out in the minibus.
It was the first trip of the year for the Residents. It was decided the first trip would be a mystery tour, out in the County Durham countryside.

Residents stopped for a picnic; they had enjoyed refreshments whilst sat in the fresh air.
One of the Residents, said, “The countryside looks like a picture from a postcard.”
Another Resident, commented, “It’s so uplifting having a trip out on the minibus.”
Care Home Manager, Gina Burleson, added, “The Residents love a trip out! It’s great to see them enjoying themselves.”
