Residents at HC-One’s Broadoak Manor care home were delighted as they visited the local ice rink to enjoy an afternoon of fun.
Residents and Colleagues enjoyed themselves as they skated around the ice rink, happily singing and laughing together about the memories they had of their childhoods at the local ice rink.
After the exciting skating adventure, the Residents and Colleagues took a trip to their local restaurant to enjoy a delicious treat of mocktails and snacks as they chatted about their favourite parts of the day.
One Resident enjoyed it so much as she remarked: “I can finally say I’ve been ice skating during my lifetime, activities like this really do give you such a thrill.”
