Residents and their Relatives enjoyed an event in celebration of St. George’s Day recently.
St George's Day in England remembers St George, England's patron saint. The anniversary of his death, which is on April 23, is seen as England's national day.
A party was held at the home, in which, attendees were entertained by singer Neil Richardson as he serenaded them with their favourite musical treasures.
Everyone was able to enjoy themselves as they got their dancing shoes on and danced the afternoon away together with large smiles on their faces.
Abi Ajiboye, Home Manager, commented: “Together we celebrate this wonderful day and remember the patron saint. It has been a fantastic event, and a great day was had by all.”
Of course, no event is complete without a delicious selection of refreshments, which consisted of home-made lunch dishes alongside Residents’ and Relatives’ favourite hot and cold drinks to enjoy.
