St David’s celebrations at Stadium Court

Residents, Relatives and Colleagues at Stadium Court in Stoke on Trent celebrated a traditional St David’s day, a national day which honours the patron saint of Wales.

As Residents welcome their Relatives and friends to the afternoon’s party, the sound of laughter and music could be heard across the home as bright daffodils and welsh flag greeted their visitors.

During the afternoon, Residents enjoyed some singing and dancing before sitting back and indulging in a delicious afternoon tea which included a variety of cheeses, welsh cakes and home-made Bara Brith, a traditional fruit loaf.

One Resident commented:

"I had a lovely afternoon and it was nice to see the daffodils in the garden too.  Can’t wait for the next party, it’s so much fun."

Home Manager, Trish commented:

"It was a wonderful afternoon and our Residents clearly enjoyed themselves, it was good to see their laughter and smiles and thank you to all our visitors who came along to join us."
