Residents and staff at St Clare’s Court care home in Newton Aycliffe joined the daughters to raise a glass in memory of a much-loved Resident.
The daughters of Iris Brown, who sadly recently passed away, wished to hold a remembrance day at St Clare’s Court in memory of their mum.
The day consisted of a performer singing in honour of Iris, as well as everyone raising a glass to their fellow Resident, friend or family member.
One Resident commented: “The remembrance day was a lovely way to spend the day reminiscing about Iris and her huge personality.”
Michelle Jones, Home Manager, said: “Iris was loved by everyone here at St Clare’s Court. She will really be missed, and we are really happy that we could be a part of her Remembrance Day with her daughters.”
