St Clare’s Care Home held Afternoon Tea for Valentine’s Day yesterday as well as entertainment from a male vocalist singer.
Residents decorated the table ahead of the event with heart shaped scatters and red roses, with each Resident receiving a heart shaped chocolate for their effort.
Family, friends and the local community joined the Residents and all of the lucky ladies were presented with a red rose from the singer. Some of the ladies even got up and danced along to the music.
A raffle was held and an amazing £54.80 was raised towards the resident’s fund.
Everyone said how much they enjoyed the singer and thought that the rose was a very nice touch.
