St Clare’s Court celebrate good CQC inspectionResidents and staff at St Clare’s Court Care Home received a glowing report from CQC and celebrated with a special party.  

The home received a good result overall with an outstanding in responsiveness. CQC reported that their end of life support is outstanding with relatives commenting that the staff support the Residents at the end of their lives with extreme compassion and involving Residents and relatives in personalised care plans. 

Entertainers were invited into the home to sing to everyone and the Residents thoroughly enjoyed a boogie and a sing-a-long.

An extra special visit was made by the Mayor of Newton Aycliffe, who spent time chatting to the Residents and helped to cut the cake. 

John Smith, a Resident at St Clare’s Court, commented: “What a great party. I can’t wait for any future events now!”

St Clare’s Court’s Home Manager commented: “Thank you to all of the staff for their hard work organising the party and to the Residents, family and friends for making it such an amazing day.”
