HC-One’s Springfield House Care Home in Gateshead had a royal celebration for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Residents, family members and staff all got together to watch the wedding and enjoy the celebrations. Residents and the team at Springfield House marked the occasion by wearing red, white or blue.
There was an amazing array of hats on display and everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch, with an amazing wedding cake made by Residents at their Friday craft session, which topped it all off.
An amazing day was had by all, with a range of different emotions coming out, including tears of joy and laughter.
