Springfield House, residential and residential dementia care home, in Gateshead, Residents and staff have been getting in the Christmas spirit.
The care home has recently celebrated ‘elf day’ over two days so both sites could join in the festive fun.
Kay Rudd, Care Home Manager, really got into the spirit and not only dressed up as an elf but decided to play the part to Oscar Level being the naughty elf.
Springfield House’s elf was found near the Christmas tree, sitting down on the job and then top the day of fun and frolics off Residents found the elf having a lie down on the shelf.
One Resident, commented, “The staff have brought a smile to our faces.”
Kay, added, “Brilliant fun, it was nice to see the Residents having fun too.”
