Residents have been busy tending to their spring gardening this April at HC-One’s Forthbank care home in Kildean, Stirling.
With a lot of green fingered Residents at Forthbank, the garden has been full of activity in preparation for the warmer weather in the coming months. Residents have been planting flowers and vegetable seeds as well as tending to weeds and watering the garden regularly.
Everyone at Forthbank was delighted to see the first signs of the seeds beginning to grow and are looking forward to the first crop of homegrown vegetables they can enjoy.
Forthbank Home Manager, Yvonne Graham said: “It’s lovely that some of our Residents get so much happiness from gardening and are able to utilize our beautiful grounds to enjoy their interests.”
Located on Drip Road, Forthbank care home offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentleman that require nursing care and nursing memory care, for those living with dementia.
