Colleagues from
Newlands care home, in Heaton Moor, have had a wonderful morning leading up to the Easter weekend, spreading a bit of festive cheer to the Stockport community.
Melissa, Anoj, Pat and Claire from the 69-bed residential and nursing care home, enjoyed meeting their neighbours in Stockport from various shops, bars and local amenities, while they were and handing out Easter treats while introducing the home and inviting people in for an afternoon tea and a game of bingo.
Melissa Johnson -Home Manager, commented, “What a fantastic morning! It was so lovely to meet our neighbours in Stockport and getting out in the fresh air telling people all about how amazing care home.”
“People in the community thought it was hilarious and we got lots of cars beeping and stopping to take photos.”
