Residents at HC-One’s The Moat House care home in Great Easton, Essex celebrated Halloween with a day of making pumpkin soup and apple and pumpkin pie.
A group of Residents came together to create some Halloween-themed food which included pumpkin soup as well as apple and pumpkin pie. As everyone prepared the food, they shared stories of their favourite home comfort food that they enjoyed making for their families in the autumn months.
The remaining pumpkins were carved and put on display for all to admire as fellow Residents tasted the group's culinary efforts. Everyone commented that the food was lovely and the Residents who participated said it was an enjoyable morning.
