Spooktacular decorations go down a storm at Newton Heath care homeResidents at Averill House care home in Newton Heath, Manchester have enjoyed getting into the Halloween spirit by creating some spooktacular decorations.

The arts and crafts session was a real success amongst those living at the home, as Residents created dangling spiders, ghosts and pumpkins to hang from the ceilings.

Colleagues added a few final touches as they pinned pumpkin bunting, fake skeletons and witches hats around the home.

Rosemary Horsfield, Home Manager at Averill House, said: “Our Residents couldn’t wait to get the home ready for Halloween, so it only seemed fitting to have a themed arts and crafts session. Everyone loved being a part of decorating the home and can’t wait to get involved in the celebrations next week.”
